At the XXI international specialized exhibition «Safety and occupational safety” the company 3M presented a wide range of products for human security: protection means of respiratory, hearing, face and head.
for the First time at the 3M stand was presented to the gas analyzers and self-contained breathing systems for firefighters and oil company Scott Safety, which was acquired by 3M in 2017.
On the opening day of the exhibition stand 3M Russia was visited by the Chairman of the RF Government Dmitry Medvedev. The Prime Minister and his accompanying Cabinet members was submitted to new unique designs 3M company communication hearing protector ear LEP 100, welding mask Speedglas® MP system forced air Adflo™ personal protective equipment of Russian production – respirators series 8100, 9900, V-Flex. The greatest interest of the Prime Minister caused a new development of 3M, special helmet for coal industry 3M™ Airstream™, which provides comprehensive protection for head, eyes and breath worker. The helmet consists of helmet, face shield, built-in filter and motor, which pumps air through filter material and delivers the clean air into the mask space. On this project the Russian team 3M for more than a year working with colleagues from the USA, Poland, UK and Australia. Today the project is in the final stage, the shipments to the Russian market is expected in 2018.
In new models of Speedglas welding shields® added Bluetooth for easy settings control from your smartphone. Also, the welders had the opportunity to choose spectrum of the filter in which they are most comfortable working with. Built-in flashlight adds to these functions the ability to move safely in dark places, and the unit is forced air delivers the purified air to mask the space, protecting the respiratory organs of welders from harmful welding fumes and gases.
The exhibition 3M also presented their technological development, allowing to evaluate the effectiveness of PPE, for example, a special device to assess the effectiveness of the valve of the respirator.
For visitors to the exhibition had daily demonstrations of working equipment by 3M for protection against falls from a height.
