“Svarka/Welding 2018” – leading exhibition of advanced technologies and largest industry platform for constructive dialogue between government, business and academia on the development of the welding industry. Takes place in St. Petersburg, the new Congress and exhibition center “St Petersburg”.
For the First time took place in 1969. Every year the project is developing dynamically in accordance with market needs and with the cooperation with trade unions in Russia and abroad and world's leading exhibition companies.
In 2017, the project has updated the format, expanding the business program into the main area of the country to discuss strategy of development of the industry, it was attended by about 6 thousand specialists of the industry.
Traditionally, the exhibition hosts first impressions of welding technologies, equipment and materials and the experience of their implementation. The latest technologies and experience of their implementation in welding production in the industrial enterprises present at the exhibition of leading Russian and foreign manufacturers of welding equipment and materials.
Exhibition of 2018 included in the Program of the Government of the Russian Federation on financing of the cost of participation in the exhibition companies from Russia, manufacturers of high-tech and innovative welding equipment, and services to support and promote products on the Russian and foreign markets.
Partners of the exhibition – company MESSE ESSEN by the German Association of welding (DVS), Chinese mechanical engineering society (CMES) – will be organized national stands of Germany and China.
The organizer of the exhibition and Congress is the “Expoforum-international” in partnership with the JSC «Gazprom», the Alliance of welders of St. Petersburg and the Northwest Federal district. The exhibition is held under support of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg Government, the National Committee for welding ran (NKS), the National Agency for control of Welding (NAKS), the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Saint-Petersburg chamber of Commerce and industry of the Russian Federation, Chinese mechanical engineering society (CMES).
