3M will participate in the national safety Week (vnat) 2019 and X International exhibition of industrial safety SAPE 2019, which will be held in Sochi from 23 to 26 April 2019. 3M will present novelties in the field of labor protection and industrial safety, to test which will be possible in the mobile laboratory at the company's booth. In the framework of the business program, the company will hold round tables where industry experts will discuss relevant topics and share experiences on safety in the workplace.
3M – Russian and world leader in solutions for labour protection and industrial safety will present a range of products to ensure safety: respirators, a new generation of Aura gen3 and other models for respiratory protection that provide protection, comfort, durability, lightness and the usability of the system with a forced supply of air Versaflo® for comprehensive protection of breathing, eyes, head and face; the line of glasses for eyesight protection of workers; the range of active and passive earmuffs for hearing protection; retroreflective materials to ensure transport safety; Scott Safety gas analyzers for determining gas concentration measurements in the workplace, as well as various localized products – welding shields and filtering half masks for different categories of respiratory protection.
The company's stand will operate a mobile laboratory, where our technical experts will introduce visitors to the engineering to determine the effectiveness of PPE in an industrial environment and learn how to tell the authenticity of PPE respiratory. Visitors to the stand will be able to participate in the demonstration tools for use at height, the automatic calibration of the gas analyzer, to know what leak detector and how it works, to get acquainted with the portable gas detector BM25 and the X40 controller in action.
For the First time at the outdoor area of the SAPE will feature a new interactive exposition 3M, where visitors will be able to participate in the tutorial quest on labor protection and test solutions 3M in action.

- Round table “guidelines on the selection and use of PPE hearing”, 23 April, 15:30 – 17:00
Increased noise is one of the most common hazards in the workplace. Its impact on the worker can lead to serious disorders in the human body. PPE are the last items in the hierarchy of protective measures, from the correctness of their selection and the correctness of the application depends on the effectiveness of the protection of the employee and his health. The need for qualitative recommendations for selection and use of PPE organ of hearing is relevant in the light of the development of the risk based approach and the concept of zero injuries. These guidelines were developed by a working group of the Association of PPE and will be presented to the professional community.
- Round table “Imaging of dangerous objects – not capital intensive as a tool to improve safety at work" April 24, 10:00 – 11:30
Imaging – a set of passive solutions to improve safety at work. This complex includes the equipment and materials with reflective properties, is able to identify the person, vehicles, property, or threat area, but also make them much more visible in the distance. Such a designation provides early warning of danger and to reduce injuries in the workplace.
The roundtable will be considered implemented at the enterprises of the projects and legislative initiatives in this direction.
- Round table “How to teach each member the employee to correctly apply PPE: Russian practice and international experience”, April 25, 14:30 – 16:00
In the framework of increasing efficiency of use by workers of PPE it is obvious that there should be regular training sessions at the enterprises for the employees. However, professionals FROM is not always enough time resources and sometimes more knowledge on PPE. This disadvantage can be solved through the introduction of distance learning sessions involving external experts and creation of corporate programs. The round table is expected to share Russian and international practices.

Accidents at work and occupational diseases are not inevitable: they always have reasons. The nature of jobs is constantly changing, knowledge becomes obsolete more and more rapidly, and the skills of workers are demanding regular updates. The development of an effective culture of prevention allows to offset these factors. Innovativeness and interactivity game mechanics contribute to improving employee engagement and motivating employees for safe behavior. The event will consider a few applications of gamification in the sphere of labor protection and industrial security: business game, business quest, innovative game play and training on the simulator.
