Tumbling rotary (centrifugal)

Rotary (centrifugal) tumbling is in tumbling drums rotor type on the principle of toroidal motion-processed details together with specially selected tumbling bodies, which are served in the drum and due to the rotation of special plates subjected to accelerate. Under the influence of the generated power centrifugal force of inertia and a mixture of parts and abrasives moves up the sides of the drum under the influence of gravity, the mixture is returned on a rotating plate, where again undergoes acceleration. Continuous change of the direction of rotation of the drum (left and right), further ensures optimal uniform gentrification of a surface of details.

Centrifugal tumbling used for processing of small and medium-sized workpieces of different geometry as individual and mass production. Suitable for solving the following tasks: the deletion of Burr and Burr, rounding edges, smoothing, cleaning of the scale, Matt and mirror polishing, lapping up to class 12.

Since the interaction of various centrifugal forces and intensive contact details with tumbling bodies handling centrifugal installations gives much better results (approx. in 10-30 times higher) than traditional vibrating tumbling. Depending on the type of material and the original surface parts nominal process of centrifugal processing can take from 15 minutes to 2.5 hours.

Easy maintenance and work with centrifugal installations, their versatility and reliability allow with minimal labour one-two workers without specific training to carry out the volumes of production of the whole workshop of 20-40 people and as a consequence, reducing the cost of products significantly.
