At the meeting of the Committee of the Parliament of the CBD on industry, transport, communication and roads, on the development prospects of the industrial sector of Kabardino-Balkaria, plant «cerecalase– cited as an example. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of the CBD, Natu Bozava, the introduction of Western economic sanctions has increased the requirements for the Russian industrial sector. In this regard, it is necessary to begin effective implementation of the program of import substitution, which will make the country more stable and protected against external threats.
The ministry of industry and trade of the CBD has prepared a list of 28 kinds of products, the potential for production or already produced by industrial enterprises of the Republic. One such enterprise was the plant «cerecalase", diamond tools which is able to compete with the best foreign analogues, leading in the production of diamond tools. The region also plans to expand its own "horizons" through the creation of a new enterprise that will produce abrasive and grinding tool on metal and ceramic bond. The project is being implemented by 2018, and the size of investments will amount to 460 million rubles.
