According to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, this year the state will allocate for support of Russian machine-building enterprises of 2.7 billion rubles of support. In 2015, the industry received 1.5 billion rubles, while most of the amount was provided by the industry development Fund. Medvedev also stated the need for a private Russian-made machines to become more competitive. Domestic equipment will be equipped with software developed by Russian programmers. It will also reduce the dependence on imported technology.
According to the Prime Minister, the demand for the supply of pilot batches of Russian machine tools and the deployment of serial production should be encouraged by the state. Russia should present its machine tool products not only in domestic but also in foreign market. To do this, Medvedev signed a decree on the provision of incentives (deferral of payment of penalties) for suppliers of domestic machines. It will facilitate the activities of producers of this equipment working in Russia.
Medvedev Also called for the enterprise of the group “MILL”, where he introduced the grinding machine, deep hole drilling machine and hydraulic press. During the visit the Prime Minister talked with the working staff of the factory and learned that the company does not receive a lot of orders for manufacturing equipment.
